Vocation: joy in service

God calls you to serve both Him and your neighbor through your vocation. Your vocation is more than your job: It is the way God has called you to love — in your family, in the world, at work and at church. We work with joy, knowing that God is pleased as we do what He has called us to do. You may be a stay-at-home mom, a retiree or one who goes to work all day everyday outside the home. You may be a son, daughter, mother or father. Your work may benefit the Church directly or be entirely secular. We rejoice that God has so ordered this world that all we do serves and blesses His creatures and His creation. He rejoices in our service to Him and to our neighbor in all that we do.
