Engaged in Mission: Congregation & Community is a two-day gathering hosted by the Oklahoma District and The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod's Office of National Mission. It will take place at Messiah Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City on April 24–25, 2026. The focus of the conference will be on strengthening mission engagement, community outreach, and congregational vitality within the LCMS. Featuring Rev. Dr. Quintin Cundiff, Director of Church Planting, and Rev. Dr. Heath Trampe, Director of Discipleship, the event equips pastors, church workers, leaders, and laypeople to plant, revitalize, and disciple congregations more effectively.
Dr. Cundiff will draw on his extensive experience in U.S. and international church planting, including missionary service in Latvia and work across LCMS church plants.
Dr. Trampe brings years of parish ministry and national leadership in discipleship, outreach, evangelism, and LCMS re:Vitality.
