Christ Lutheran Church Invites the Community to Its Annual Trunk or Treat
Free, family-friendly Halloween event returns to Mustang on Saturday, October 24
MUSTANG, Okla. — Christ Lutheran Church will host its annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 501 N. Clear Springs Road in Mustang. The event is free and open to the public.
Church members will decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy. Children can trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk in a safe, well-lit, family-friendly setting. Kids of all ages are invited to come in costume, and families from Mustang, Yukon, Tuttle, and across the Oklahoma City metro are welcome.
"This is one of my favorite events of the year. There are always lots of people, despite what the weather might be. Everyone has fun and it is a joy to see a smile light up the children’s faces." said Rev. Daniel Ross, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church.
Trunk or Treat is one of several community events Christ Lutheran hosts each year, along with its Easter Egg Hunt, Community Picnic and Craft Show, and Vacation Bible School.
Parking is available in the church's south lot as the east lot is closed for safety. The church is easy to reach from Yukon, Tuttle, and southwest Oklahoma City via Highway 152 or Clear Springs Road.
Families are also welcome to join the congregation for Sunday worship the next morning, October 25, at 8 or 10:30 a.m.
